Admissions

The official admissions page states that BTech admission takes place through the common Joint Entrance Examination process for IITs. MSc admission is through JAM as stated in the institute's academic manual. MTech and PhD admissions are normally offered in the monsoon semester, with possible winter or mid-semester PhD rounds when announced by the relevant department. Eligibility, entrance requirements, deadlines and fees vary by programme and session; applicants should use the current official programme notice and application portal.
