Eligibility

Age

For the FY 2024-25 recruitment, candidates were required to be between 21 and 30 years of age as on 1 November 2024, subject to applicable age relaxations.

General Stream

For the General stream, candidates required a graduation degree in any discipline with the prescribed minimum aggregate marks. General and OBC candidates required 60%, while SC and ST candidates required 55%.

Legal

The Legal stream required a recognised law qualification with the prescribed marks and additional qualifications or experience where specified in the notification.

Human Resources

The HR stream required graduation along with the prescribed postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Management or Personnel Management.

Engineering

The Engineering stream covered Civil, Aeronautical, Marine, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering qualifications.

Information Technology

The IT stream required the prescribed engineering or technology qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or the other eligible technology disciplines specified in the notification.

Actuary

The Actuary stream required graduation in any discipline together with the prescribed actuarial examination qualification, including the required number of cleared actuarial papers.

Insurance

The Insurance stream required graduation together with the prescribed postgraduate qualification or professional insurance qualification.

Medical

The Medical stream required an MBBS qualification and followed the separate selection procedure prescribed by GIC.

Finance

The Finance stream required the prescribed commerce or finance qualification specified in the recruitment notification.
