About Joint CSIR-UGC NET

<p>Joint CSIR-UGC NET is a national-level examination conducted by the National Testing Agency on behalf of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research.</p><p>The examination determines eligibility for categories including award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D., and admission to Ph.D. only.</p><p>The examination covers five science subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences.</p>
