CFP Eligibility in India

Entry to specialist courses

FPSB India states that individuals who are at least 18 years of age and have completed HSC/Class 12 may register for any one of the three specialist courses.

Requirements for CFP certification

Completing an individual specialist course does not by itself confer CFP certification. Candidates pursuing the CFP certification pathway must complete the required specialist certifications and subsequent Integrated Financial Planning requirements, satisfy the applicable graduate-level education and work-experience criteria, complete the Financial Plan Assessment, pass the CFP examination and satisfy ethics and certification requirements.
