Eligibility
Foundation Course Registration
ICAI permits candidates to register for the Foundation Course after passing the Class 10 examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India or an examination recognized by the Central Government or State Government as equivalent.
Eligibility for Foundation Examination
The prescribed four-month study period has to be completed before appearing in the Foundation Examination. A candidate must also have appeared in the Senior Secondary (10+2) examination conducted by a recognized examining body or an equivalent examination recognized for admission to a graduation course.
Provisional Registration
Students can therefore begin the Foundation Course registration process after Class 10, subject to the conditions prescribed by ICAI for appearing in the examination.
