School of Social Sciences

The university lists extension-service activities involving participatory planning, awareness and capacity development; these are university-level activities and are not represented as exclusive school facilities.

The official directory identifies the Department of Public Administration and Policy Studies and Department of Social Work. Verify current programme names, eligibility and admissions in the university prospectus.

The university directory places Public Administration and Policy Studies and Social Work within the School of Social Sciences. These fields give the school an academic focus on public institutions, policy and social welfare practice. The university also lists an APJ Abdul Kalam Centre for Extension Services whose documented activities include participatory planning, awareness programmes and capacity development, with staff involvement from Social Work and other departments; this centre is a university-wide resource rather than a facility exclusive to the school. Applicants should consult current department pages for programme-specific information.
