School of Physical Sciences

Officially documented equipment includes AAS, fluorescence, FTIR and UV-VIS spectrophotometers, a CHNS analyser, gas chromatography, thermal analysis, electrochemical workstations, XRD and thin-film fabrication facilities; computational labs are also described.

The school lists MSc and PhD study in Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics. Check the current prospectus for eligibility, selection and intake.

The School of Physical Sciences comprises Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics. The official school profile says all four departments offer MSc and PhD programmes and documents research infrastructure including analytical instruments, materials-characterisation equipment, computational facilities and a signal-processing/intelligent-systems laboratory. The profile also records externally funded research and publication activity, though these are reported-period figures rather than guaranteed current totals. It is relevant to applicants seeking postgraduate study and research in the physical and computational sciences.
