The university's published admission procedure for 2026–27 states that admission is based on qualifying-examination merit or the eligibility criteria prescribed by applicable statutory/regulatory provisions. For technical courses, candidates who appeared in JEE Main 2026 receive preference; that statement should not be applied to medical courses. Medical programme applicants must meet the current programme-specific eligibility and regulatory counselling requirements.
