Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi

Located in Vishwakarma Bhavan on the IIT Delhi Hauz Khas campus. Official DMS materials describe shared campus infrastructure and student activities; no standalone inventory of DMS-specific facilities was entered.

The department maintains a placement process and campus relations/placement team. No placement salary or placement count is stored here because figures vary by reporting year and were not reconciled to a single official report for this record.

Official DMS pages describe admissions to the MBA and MBA (Telecommunication Systems Management) through CAT and institute selection steps; Executive MBA and PhD use programme-specific selection procedures. Applicants should use the official DMS admissions pages for current requirements.

IIT Delhi's official history dates the institute's first admissions to 1961. DMS's official MBA page identifies 1993 as the department's establishment year; a directory profile gives 1997, so the official department figure is used here.

The Department of Management Studies (DMS) is IIT Delhi's management education and research unit. Its academic offerings include the full-time MBA, MBA in Telecommunication Systems Management, Executive MBA, and PhD in Management. The department's official materials describe research and teaching across areas including finance, marketing, information systems, operations, and technology management.
