Amount Details

₹9,000–₹15,000 per year for day scholars and ₹15,000–₹24,000 per year for hostellers, depending on the applicable course group (A–D).

Eligibility Criteria

Students belonging to SC, ST, OBC or Minority categories studying in recognised colleges, professional or technical institutions.

The student should have secured at least 60% marks in the previous academic year.

For OBC students, the published scheme information specifies a family income ceiling of up to ₹3.00 lakh per annum.

The scheme provides merit-based assistance to eligible students studying in recognised college/professional institutions. Course group, day-scholar/hosteller status and other conditions may affect the amount and eligibility.
