All India Management Association

The All India Management Association (AIMA) is a professional association of management schools and institutions in India. AIMA conducts the Management Aptitude Test (MAT), a national-level entrance examination used by participating business schools for MBA, PGDM and allied management admissions. MAT has been administered since 1988 and is conducted multiple times a year in Paper Based Test and Computer Based Test modes. For candidates, the AIMA record is especially relevant for MAT registration, test schedules, scorecards, participating institutions and admission-related information.

AIMA was founded in 1957 as a national association representing the management education and professional community. MAT has been administered by AIMA since 1988. The Government of India approved MAT as a national-level test in 2003. The examination has evolved into a recurring national management entrance test with multiple annual administrations and both paper-based and computer-based modes.

AIMA functions as a professional association for management education and related institutions.
